Blackberries are good fuel

Blackberries are high in fiber, so they are a good choice for slow, steady fuel. Eat them with oatmeal 2 hours before a log ride or snack on them between meals to curb cravings. –Amy Jamieson-Petonic, RD, director of wellness coaching at Cleveland Clinic. They are also packed with vitamins C and K, plus manganese.
