Bicycle Ambassador Project

It’s great you own a bicycle and are taking an interest in the world of cycling. Driven by muscle power alone you will begin to see the world differently as you develop your bicycling abilities. Let us help you learn basic techniques and mechanical skills to increase your level of confidence. And make the journey more enjoyable.

The Bicycle Ambassadors are a team of seasoned, experienced bicycle safety and education specialists who encourage Tennesseans to ride their bikes more often and safely. The Bicycle Ambassadors will help you:

Learn the Rules of the Road
Learn & apply riding skills in a no car environment.
Increase your knowledge of basic bicycle mechanics.

Education is a key component in accomplishing your goals and improves the quality and safety of the bicycling environment in our community. Let the Bicycle Ambassadors help you.

Join us 6:00 p.m. Monday evenings at Shutes Branch, located off Saundersville Road and Needmore Road in Mount Juliet. A half mile paved course provides a low stress environment to practice bicycling skills; time permitting, we will enjoy a slow speed ride through the Langford Cove area.

Learn to improve your ride and take advantage of weekly group ride opportunities with the Veloteers Bicycle Club
